1. Satellite TV sites

A number of websites now provide TV satellite television. Some even allow you to watch your favorite TV shows, including news, comedy, sports and more, without paying a penny. There are several websites that offer a good range of satellite channels so you can see free.

Some websites include free satellite tv BeelineTV and Wfitv. However, watching TV through the satellite TV sites have their drawbacks. Like all web sites with streaming media, there may be downtimes and slow connection speeds when a large number of viewers accessing the site simultaneously.

2. Satellite TV for PC Hardware

Another method to watch TV on a PC is to install new hardware in your computer that allows you to watch satellite television through Internet: PCTV cards. These cards, when installed on a PC, it is practically computer satellite TV with instant access to hundreds of satellite TV channels.

Watch Satellite TV on PC is free because the programs are free-to-air. However, the disadvantage when it comes to PCTV cards is that it can be quite expensive. The only time you pay is for a one time fee to purchase the software. Installation is very easy and you can set your satellite TV on your PC in minutes.

I wanted to watch TV on my PC and this is what I found by doing some research. There are basically 2 ways to do this. One solution is to buy a PCTV device and the other is to use a satellite TV. I will detail the advantages and disadvantages of both.

Easy installation.

A PCTV device can take the form of PCI cards or USB device. Personally, I prefer the USB version because I really have not opened my computer. In addition, the USB version can be used both for desktops and notebooks that make it more versatile.

To watch TV on my PC using a satellite TV software is even easier. All you need do is download the software (I have to pay for it, of course) and install it. I get access to thousands of channels at once. No bulky equipment or hardware. My preferred option.

Portability.

This applies if you have a laptop. If I were watching TV on my PC or laptop with a PCTV device, I have to carry the device wherever I go enjoy a live television. But with satellite television, there is nothing to do except my laptop. Sweet. Furthermore, using the software minimizes the chances of me losing the device.

Cost and value.

Why do I say cost and value? Do you realize that some things that we buy last longer and give satisfaction much better but costs a bit more than other solutions.

However, this does not really apply to the device and software for satellite TV PCTV. To watch TV on my PC with the PCTV device easily delayed me a hundred dollars, while a good program that offers over 3000 channels do not cost more than $50. The cost is less, but offers even more value. Interesting.

The beauty of both solutions is that the customers’ investment is a matter of time. You pay once and that’s all you need. Much better than a monthly subscription-based cable television, if you ask me.
